History - A dream comes true 

Early 2023 Selecta Puli (TAXI Sound, Afro-Soul Sound) called Sebő (Afro-Soul Sound) that a Hungarian Reggae Radio should be launched. To set up an own radio channel is a challenging development, that's why Sebő advised to negotiate with Fadda Chalice CEO of Liberated Radio (www.liberatedradio.com) that Hungarian selectas/sounds should have their own timeslot on the North-Carolina based internet station. That's how we started on a  hot Tuesday in the same summer. 

HMF Family 

Hungarian Massive Foundation as a radio crew was founded by 3 different sounds selectas & a singjay.
Later the Hungarian selecta DreadHead who lives in the UK joined our family. 
Other artist whose sets can be listened to regularly as a pre-recorded show is 3NtY.

Success - new timeslot on Friday  

After the shows started to run on every Tuesday soon we recognized that Hungarian massive is demanding a timeslot change, hence our audience became tired on the next workday. New negotiation with the CEO and  from 22.September Hungariam Massive Foundation' s show can be listened to every Friday. 
As more and more sound is interesting to play we gonna be flexible and give chance for everyone to participate. Hence we decided to organise a week-to-week changeable timetable what is sure: for the next months the following selectas gonna be featured as shown on the flyer.






Social Media & Streaming Platforms

We try to record all of shows and to upload the weekly best on our hearthis.at channel. As there is a great demand from the massive, all the selectors gonna upload his own show to his own platform.

Egy „lemezgyűjtő“ tapasztalatai 1. rész - A gyűjtők típusai: szenvedély hajt minket!

  Lemezt gyűjteni ismét menő! Az évek folyamán a vinylek ára és értéke hihetetlenül megugrott, a covid alatti globális bezártság pedig tovább fokozta a hype-t. Ezt a cikksorozatot akkor írom, amikor több, mint 25 év hanglemezgyűjtés után idén racionalizáltam gyűjteményemet. Ez a gyakorlatban azt jelenti, hogy eladtam a vinyleket, és a kazetták nagy részéről is lemondtam praktikus okokból. Ez is vezetett tavaly ahhoz, hogy BomBoLeee barátomnak felvessem mennyire hiányzik a lemezbolt, amit a Reggae Campen először ő valósított meg. Elég gyorsan eldöntöttük, hogy idén ismét lehet majd lemezeket venni a legnagyobb reggae összejövetelen. Nemcsak reggae-t, de egy reggae fesztiválon azért az lesz fókuszban.  Előljáróban el szeretném mondani, hogy az itt leírtakat nem készpénznek kell vennetek, hanem inkább egy véleménynek a sok közül, lehet az itt elhangzottakkal vitatkozni, kiegészíteni, hiszen a BomBoLeee's Record Shop is több lesz egy lemezboltnál, egy közösségi találkahelyként t...

Giddeon Jah Rubbaal - Free Us Now (2009, Jah Rubbaal) EN review

  Not only one of my favorite albums, but also my dearest favorite one, Free Us Now by Giddeon Jah Rubbaal is a compaliton cd relased in 2009. It was also resting on the shelf in the 10-inch EP vinyl version, but now I'm listening to it on CD. Nearly 50 minutes of conscious-roots reggae, from an artist we rarely hear about.   Jah Rubbaal - Soundsystem owner at 18 years old   The best thing about the CD is that the artist's brief biography can be read on the inside cover. He was born in 1941 and came involved with soundsystem culture very early on. After receiving training as electrician, he skillfully familiarized himself with the world of various transformers and sound boxes, so he started to work for the biggest sound system operators/owners of the time as a technical staff. He worked with Sir Coxsone, Duke Reid and Prince Buster. He built his first own sound system in 1959, Gideon and the Stinger operated until 1962, then between 1967 and 1971 he ran his own sound sy...

Egy lemezgyűjtő tapasztalatai 4. rész

 A cikksorozat végéhez értünk ezzel az újabb nem rövid résszel. A Camp és vele együtt BomBoLeee's (és Sebő) Records Shop 9 nap múlva nyitja kapuit. Mi már tűkön ülünk, éppen egy pavilonra várunk, legyártottunk, beszereztünk asztalokat, amire a portékát, és a technikát tesszük. A mai epizódban végigvesszük a különböző hanghordozók fajtáit, néhány magyar együttes lemezeinek értékére/árára is fény derül. Óhatatlanul egy kis hazai reggae történet is beleszövődik az írásba. A hanghordozók fajtái/besorolásuk - néhány hazai hanghordozó elérhetősége/értéke   A vinyl lemezek A vinyl lemezeknek méret szerint három fajtáját különböztethetjük meg: a 7 inchest, a 10 inchest és a 12 inches lemezeket A gramofon lemez - nem olyan értékes, mint gondolnánk.   Nézzük időrendi sorrendben. Először a 10” lemezek jelentek meg a piacon, azonban ezek nem vinyl lemezek voltak, hanem úgy nevezett shellac lemezek. Egy dalt rögzítettek oldalanként (kb. 3-4 percet).
